Classical Music “megabucks”: Which Premiere Was The Greatest Financial Success In History?

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

Here in Nevada, USA, we have a state sponsored, progressive slot-machine system called the “Megabucks”.
Whenever its jackpot is hit by someone, it reverts to a beginning amount of $5,000,000. I just noticed on the TV news, that it at present had reached the sum of $32,000,000 + .
It is well known that most of the great composers of classical music never achieved any degree of financial success in their lifetime; but a few did.
Which do you consider to have hit a “megabucks” with a(more than one-?)premiere of one of his compositions?

Don’t You Hate Those Big Winners?

Monday, September 7th, 2009

I sure do.
Why should I be happy for them? I’ve been playing those slot machines since October of 2002(5 years and 2 months now) and I never hit that 5,000 or 10,000 credit jackpot. I don’t play the progressives because the odds of winning there are an obvious joke to me, I play those “straight slot machines” where the jackpot stays the same and the amount of credits I try to hit are between 5,000 to 10,000 credits so I should MUCH MORE LIKELY to hit something than they are, yet they win that jackpot at those “Progressives” of at least $50,000 and they haven’t played as long as me.
Unlike them, I’m much more deserving.
They haven’t earned it like I have. And I’m NOT a jerk, OK?

If The Casinos Had Their Way, Would They,…?

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

,..to anyone who won a jackpot or some large jackpot at a Progressive slot machine or a large amount of money on a single bet anywhere, or were just ahead a good few thousand dollars ahead after they came in,.. would they hyponotize them and make it so they lose their ability to make freewill descions and become mindless robots who just sit right back down and keep playing away at that Progressive until they lose it ALL back?
Or would they want that individual to walk away ahead even if they know that person’s intelligent and will never come back and play again since they KNOW the odds and stay ahead from now on?
Or again, do they just want to make as much money as possible that they would hypnotize everyone and make them lose their humanity and ability to make freewill decisions until they’re flat broke? If that’s what they would do if they had their way, then they are sick, digsuting human beings that have zero human compassion for everyone else.
Let me know your opinion on that,
Steve

Would That Be Legal?

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

Certain online casinos offer bonuses when you subscribe and force you to wager a certain amount of money before being able to cash out the bonus. On many website, the theoretical lost is smaller than the bonus offered, therefore it would give you some profit. Example, you get a 100$ bonus and have to wager $4,000. If the theoretical lost was $40, you would make a profit of $60.
Now, let’s say I start a sweatshop in China with many workers, get many IDs from Europe and then trained the workers to play the games perfectly. They would then play all day long and subscribe to every possible casino, I would have a list of the big progressive jackpots and when one would be high enough, everyone would play until it’s won. Other than that, every casino that offer a bonus with positive expectation would be milked to the maximum by everyone.
Would it be legal?

Where Can I Find Progressive Slot Machines That Don’t Cost A Lot To Play?

I want the chance to hit a jackpot, but I don’t want to spend too much.

What Do You Think Of These People?

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

These people who play those quauater Progressive machines called Sizzling 7s where the jackpot starts out at $250 and just goes up until someone hits.
What do you think of those people who hit those Sizzling 7s jackpots and after the casino employees pays them in cash, they just keep on playing when they should be leaving for the night and enjoying that money? The odds of hitting a jackpot are hard enough as it is, let alone doing two in one night.

Don’t You Hate Those Jackpot Winners Who Win At Least Thousands Of Bucks At The Slots On The First Few Spins?

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

I sure as hell do. I especially hate it when I hear about them winning jackpots on just their first couple of spins on their first night when they’ve never even played the slots before.
The reason why I hate them so much is because unlike them, I’ve been playing those slot machines for 5 years now. I’ve played since September or October of 2002(Yes, 5 straight years), and I’ve NEVER ONCE hit a jackpot!!!
I’ve gone through 10s of thousands of spins over the course of 5 years playing the slots with the advertised jackpots of 5,000 to 10,000 credits, never the Progressives while going to the nearby river boats here in Indiana and I’ve NEVER hit a jackpot.
It’s not fair when these people hit with just a few spins. It’s not fair to me. It’s wrong, it’s insulting, and it’s just not fair.
Where the hell is my jackpot? WHAT ABOUT ME???
For 5 years, I’ve played the slots with the advertised jackpots of 5,000 to 10,000 credits, never the Progressives

One Dollar Cost Him The Progressive $24,000. Would You Have Bet It?

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Game was Pai Gow, for an extra dollar if you got a 7 card straight flush it would win the progressive…so he did. But he did not have the dollar bet that was required.
He ended up winning about $10,000, but should have had the extra jackpot. This bet only pays minimum 5-1 for a full house, and 75-1 for 4-of a kind. 200-1 for the Royal Flush, and then 1/4 jackpot for 5 aces and the full pot for the 7-card straight flush.
He was very upset with himself….so, would you have played the extra dollar?
I have won that day….several full-houses and two 4 of a kinds.
